Due to having chronic medical problems, I chopped off my hair a few years ago and just kept it short. Well, that’s all changing and for the past 10 months I’ve been growing it out. When I started it was above my ears and now it’s below my chin & just dusting the top of my shoulders. I’m pretty happy with how it’s coming along.
With that said, I’ve been trying out some new hair styling tools to help me get the right look. Recently I received the CHI Onyx Euroshine 1” Crimping Iron that provides volume and texture to create unique styles and festival looks. The 1” Onyx ceramic micro-ridged crimping plates produce noticeably shinier results. In addition, the preset temperature settings offer easily recognizable and customizable temperature selection per hair type.
What is it for:
Tight crimped pattern that can create volume at the roots and adds the ultimate texture pattern to any hairstyle.
Who is it for:
For the consumer looking to add finishing accents as well as volume and texture to styles.
• 1” Onyx ceramic plates for impeccable shine creation
• Micro-ridges produce instant volume and texture
• Preset temperature settings for various hair types
• 370°F – Fine
• 395°F – Medium
• 425°F – Coarse
• 30 second heat up
• Max temperature of up to 425°F
I’ve been using my new CHI Onyx Euroshine Crimping Iron for the past 2 1/2 weeks and absolutely LOVE it! Within 30 seconds it’s fully heated and ready-to-go. This quick heat-up time is perfect for busy women like me! Frankly, I just don’t have the time or energy to spend 1-2 hours getting ready in the morning. I like to be in & out of the bathroom within 30 minutes…max!
Next, I have some mobility issues and I love that this crimping iron is lightweight and it fits comfortably in my hand. I don’t feel like I’m holding a weighty bowling ball at all, it’s extremely lightweight, but yet well-balanced and durable.
Another added bonus is that it’s easy-to-operate. I basically just turn it on and let it heat up to the preset 380 degree temperature. There are plus & minus buttons, so you can adjust that temperature to suit your own needs. With that said, I keep it on the preset 380 degrees which works perfectly for my hair.
This is one of the easiest & fastest ways to do my hair and in less than 7 minutes, I’m totally done and on my way. My mother has longer and thicker hair than me and she’s loving it too! It takes her about 10 minutes to do her hair with it. Finally, sometimes hot irons can cause damage to your hair, so I’m loving that it’s ceramic. I’ve noticed absolutely NO drying or damage to my hair at all. NONE!
