Wet Slick Back

Make a splash with the not-yet-fully-dry look this spring! This staple look can easily translate from the runway to the streets. It’s an edgy, cool girl look that will be sure to turn heads – a simple style that is ascending into a classic status.

STEPS

  1. Divide the hair into 2 sections from behind the ears and secure the top half with a hair clip.
  2. Apply CHI Shine Infusion on the bottom half.
  3. Take small sections and place the CHI Onyx Euroshine 1” Hairstyling Iron an inch away from the scalp and slide downward to the ends.
  4. Continue to spray the CHI Shine Infusion as you work your way up to the crown area.
  5. Part the hair to the side and spray CHI Helmet Head Hairspray close to the scalp and hairline.
  6. Using a teasing brush, comb the hair back.
  7. Finish the look with CHI Shine Infusion for a more dramatic wet slick back style.

Side Topknot

The side topknot look is made up of two components: one part elegance and one part edgy – a chic alternative to the classic chignon that can be worn to the swankiest of events. It’s a modern spin on a timeless look that has brought topknots to the forefront of runways once again.

STEPS

  4. Apply a small amount of CHI Pliable Polish to your hands and apply it all over the hair for control.
  5. Gather all of the hair together and pull it towards the side of temple; smooth it out with a brush.
  6. Twist the ponytail in a downward motion and wrap it around until you have created a bun. Secure it with a few pins.
  7. Finish the look with CHI Shine Infusion.
